BABY FOOD JAR FAVOURS....NEED SOME HELP THOUGH!
Wed 17 Mar 2010 12.48AM posts 9 | views 94
Hi all
As we’re having a cocktail party we’re going to have some favours available on our guest book table. My MOH has collected 80 baby food jars (handy that she and he sister both had babies at the same time!) and we are going to fill them with m&m’s/smarties…what ever’s cheapest really.
Has anyone ever done this before? I was going to put a label and ribbon around the bottle, but i don’t want the lid to look nasty. Thinking maybe paint? I can’t seem to find any printable round labels….
Your thoughts would be a great help!!!

How about a circle of fabric and tied with a ribbon in the wedding colours? Like the old fashioned jams etc that you can buy?

I was going to suggest the material circle and ribbon also, you can match to your theme.
you can buy circle cutters from your local craft store.

I have bought a box of jars from a local glass manufacturer. It cost $40 for a box of 80.They have nice matte gold lids and are 100ml

That’s a good idea! We’ve already got the jars (and my MOH and her sister have been so good about collecting them that I’d feel bad not using them). My MOH is going to do up two this weekend for us to choose….one with painted black lids and one with polka dot fabric covers on the lids. We’ll see how they go.

I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Traditionally, the bride's usually spend about $3000 on their wedding dresses. And that doesn't include all the accessories.
