Is it one month and no days until our wedding day? I really don't want to think about that too hard. Eben remains suit-less. The ring question is becoming something of a saga (no, I still haven't made THE choice) and work and exams have kept me so deeply entrenched in the everyday that the big day is just sort of shrinking in magnitude.
Sometimes as we get closer to a goal there is sense of time starting to alter and becoming strangely slow. We have kept such a steady pace with planning and organizing our wedding that the idea that it is actually happening seems like Christmas to a little kid. All year that day seemed so, so far away and then, wham, it's here.
But the beautiful thing about living in reality is that you are too busy to get nervous. Maybe the best thing about getting married and going on a honeymoon is that you have permission to stop and smell the bridal bouquet, but right now I am running in high heels...backwards! Lucky that's what women (and brides-to-be) were designed to do.
Knot Note: With just one month to go we decided to unveil (pun intended) an image of the adorable Kate & Eben so all our Knotties could see the couple who have opened up their hearts to share their wedding planning process (and emotions) with Australia. This shot was taken when the couple were just newly engaged - you can tell from their glow and the obligatory ring flash pose. Cute huh!
